This was an installation that I created in Gallery 303 of the Harris Fine Arts Center. All the walls were covered with egg crates that I had collected from restaurants over the span of many months. The egg is made out of cardboard, cloth, and iced with royal icing. The height of the egg is 5'4", my mother's height and the height of the doorway is 4'11" my own height. There was an interactive process where the audience could write in three words or less what their relationship with their mother was like. The show was exactly what I wanted it to be given the allotment of time, but could not have come together without the help of my wonderful friends and mother!
